he student evaluation credit system shall be adopted for the 6 courses being introduced In Telangana University for MA, M.Sc, M.com (E-Commerce), MCA,MBA courses . the course will be assigned a number of credits. A credit is a unit of academic work in a semester assigned in terms of number of units each in a paper calculated in terms of hours of instruction/self study. To get a Post Graduate degree a student has accumulate- such credits of work in each semester. Students get their

Final over all performance in various theory papers, practical cum Internal assessment and Project report and electives studied which are assessed continuously.

M.A.Mass Communication comprises of 123 credits (24 hrs per week) covering 20 papers and elective. A student is required to complete 5 theory papers and elective in semesters I, II & II, i.e., 30 credits per semester. However in the 4th Semester he or she has to complete 4 theory papers, project work and an elective to obtain 33 credits for that semester.

M.A Telugu Studies course comprises of 120 credits (24 hrs per week) covering 20 papers/electives. A student is required to complete 5 theory papers in each semester i.e,30 credits in theory and the elective in each semester to complete the M.A.Telugu Studies course.

M.Sc. Botany course consists of 116 credits (32 hrs per week) covering 16 papers,practicles and electives. A student is required to complete 4 theory papers in each semester, practicles and elective in each semester and acquire 29 credits per semester to complete M.Sc Botany course.

M.Com E.Commerce course comprises of 138 credits(34 hrs per week) covering 22 papers, project work and electives. A student is required to complete 6 theory papers, electives in semesters I, II and III. However in the IV semester 4 theory papers, project work and electives have to be studied to complete the course in M.Com E.Commerce.

MBA course comprises of 166 credits(35 hrs per week) of instruction/self study covering 26 papers, lab work, project and electives. Student is required to complete 6 theory papers, lab work and electives in each semester and obtain 42 credit in each of the I and II semester, 37 credits in III semester and 45 credits in IV semester to get an MBA degree.

MCA course comprises of 174 credits(24 hrs per week) of instruction/self study covering 25 papers, lab work, electives, seminar and project work. A Student is required to complete 5 theory papers, lab work and electives in each semester to acquire 29 credits for each semester. However V & VI semester 31 credits respectively have to be obtained to get the MCA degree.
